Cheap and efficient Vertical Radiators - A Rose amongst the Thorns
Article written by Andrew J Wright, January 12th 2009
Recently I found myself becoming the proud owner of an old Victorian townhouse. It had not been lived in for years, so there were many repairs that needed attending to. One of the many problems was there was a terrible draught that crept under the door of almost every room. Also due to the sheer size of many of the rooms, there was often a very cold atmosphere and it was very hard to relax without wrapping up in a few extra layers. As mentioned before, the house had not had an owner for years and so the radiators we were left with had been either disused by the previous owner or just weren’t working at all. With winter approaching, they needed replacing quickly because as we all know, there’s nothing worse than living in a cold house throughout the harsh English winter.
Home Radiator
Fortunately, it was around this time that I noticed an advert for the ‘Radiator Factory’ that I saw online. I looked on their site and was happy to find a wide range of radiators on offer. After consulting my wife on which models were suitable for our home we were more than happy to order a range of vertical panel radiators contrasting colours and materials. What was also pleasing is that their choice of Vertical Radiators didn’t really effect our budget, which allowed us to spend slightly more on a few luxury items, which wouldn’t have been achievable had we not ordered from the ‘Radiator Factory’. Thanks to them, our home doesn’t feel as ‘eerie’ before and has become a lot more pleasant to spend time in and welcome guests. Also a problem we had before was that family hardly spent any time together in the living room together. With me and my wife at work and the children at school, the evening is the only time we really get to do something. Rather than watch a film or eat a nice meal together, we were going to our individual rooms as the vertical radiators before just weren’t effective enough. That is not the case now however, as the vertical panel radiators the company has installed make the living and dining room area feel very temperate and comfortable. Another thing I can commend the ‘Radiator Factory’ on is that their vertical radiators take up little space and are hardly noticeable as you walk from room to room. This does not mean however that visiting neighbours and friends haven’t complimented us on the radiators we have chosen. Even though the models they offer are very modern and cutting-edge, the radiators we have chosen don’t look out of place at all in our old Victorian townhouse and I’m glad to have spent my hard earned money on efficient and reliable vertical radiators as opposed to more expensive but less useful brands. I have to award the ‘Radiator Factory’ a lot of praise for the service they offered, thanks again!
